The TBC fault shouldn't be anything serious, my 05 says the same thing if I use the remote start, its just the Trailer Brake Controller, for some reason it probably isn't getting power, thats why mine does it, then when I put the key in and turn it to on it goes away..Good luck. 2008 F350 Lariat 6.4L.1. FICM Not Working : Replace the FICM The FICM (fuel injection control module) controls and powers the fuel injectors of the powerstroke 6.0. A problematic FICM makes it difficult to start the engine, which is the most important issue. Engine cranks for a longer period of time before starting, and occasionally it does not start or runs rough. My 2005 has towcommand and this fault is addressed in the owners manual..It only flashed on my dash 6 different times during the coldest of weather (-15f). I was not towing anything, just driving to work. There did not seem to be any lasting problem after the cold weather broke. Of course the truck is under warrantee but I have not had a chance ....
